Disney “Traveling Around The World” – Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland Part 3, Magic Carpets of Aladdin

Welcome back to Adventureland “World” travelers! The next stop on our travels takes us to India, where we step onto the Magic Carpets of Aladdin attraction. Come aboard and ride a magical flying carpet based on the 1992 film Aladdin. This attraction is geared towards younger kids, but is fun for all ages.

Soar around a giant genie bottle as the kids make their carpet go up and down, or pitch forward and back. Each flying carpet vehicle accommodates a total of 4 people, with 2 in the front seat and 2 in the back. Sit in the front seat to control the height of your flying carpet. Sit in the back seat if you want to control the forward and back pitch.

Be sure to watch out for the camel facing the ride, who occasionally spits water at the carpets passing by. But don’t worry. It’s very unlikely you’ll get even a little wet.

The only drawback is that this is a slow loading attraction, very similar to Dumbo, so the lines can get a little long. But while you’re waiting in line, keep an eye out for Princess Jasmine, Aladdin, and other characters who can often be found in the area nearby this attraction. So take a seat on your magic carpet as you soar above Agrabah on The Magic Carpets of Aladdin.
