Over the Years……Disney Parks Then and Now

DlandFor those die-hard fans who return to the Disney parks year after year, you’ve probably noticed a variety of changes to the attractions and areas from time to time. But then again you might not have noticed some of the subtle changes that have taken place over the years. We recently came across a collection of ‘Then and Now’ photos that show both minor and major changes to some of your favorite Disney Parks over the past decades, beginning with photos from the 1964 New York World’s Fair where Walt first introduced the world to ‘it’s a small world’. Other photos show an assortment of ‘then and now’ changes to Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, Epcot, the now abandoned River Country, and Disneyland Park. You’ll be amazed at how much has changed over the years:

Wow, some of these photos are amazing! It’s hard to believe the changes that have taken place over the years. And it’s really sad to see the abandoned, dilapidated condition of the former River Country. I know that Disney World has two amazing water parks, but the natural habitat of River Country was most certainly a place full of fun family memories for so many visitors. I hope you enjoyed all of the photos above. These are actually only a portion of the photos in the series, so if you want to check out the entire collection then head over to Imagineering Disney to see more ‘Then and Now’ photos!
