Princess Fairytale Hall Makes Royal Debut This Month at Disney’s Magic Kingdom

princess-fairytale-hallWalt Disney Imagineers are busy putting the finishing touches on Princess Fairytale Hall in Magic Kingdom Park as they prepare for this new character greeting location to welcome guests later this month. This exquisitely detailed Princess greeting location is the next piece of the New Fantasyland expansion to make its royal debut when it officially opens its doors on September 18.

In anticipation of this exciting new addition, Walt Disney Imagineering has released a video giving fans a sneak peek behind the doors of this exquisitely designed character venue. In it, Imagineers Pam Rawlins and Jason Grandt explain just how detailed this new character greeting area will be. In addition to a castle-like entrance, high ceilings and elegant wood-paneled rooms, the space will feature beautiful princess portraits, themed wallpaper, glittering stained glass windows and accessories that have been inspired by props seen in films like Cinderella and Tangled.

Replacing the classic attraction Snow White’s Scary Adventures, Princess Fairytale Hall is part of the New Fantasyland expansion of the park, adding an elaborately themed regal environment to encounter the Disney Princesses. Upon entering, guests will select a princess path to meet Cinderella and a visiting princess or Rapunzel and another princess, with an ever-changing cast of favorite Disney Princesses to appear in this venue throughout the day.

Princess Fairytale Hall will offer both traditional Disney FASTPASS and the new Disney FastPass+ options.

Check out the video below for a peek behind the doors of this highly anticipated, beautifully designed Princess Fairytale Hall:
