Epcot’s “Eat to the Beat” Concert Kicks Off With Popular Acts From the 70s, 80s, and 90s

EatToTheBeatIn all of the excitement of so many new experiences coming to this year’s Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, some fans may not realize that everything at the festival is not about the food. There’s also the music! That’s right, each night of the festival includes a chance for fans to soak up the rocking sounds at the “Eat to the Beat” outdoor concert series, featuring nightly performances from a sizzling line-up of major musical acts. This popular returning concert series kicked off last night with Starship starring Mickey Thomas, performing at three different times at the America Gardens Theatre. This year’s Eat to the Beat lineup includes many new performers, including the Go-Go’s, Edwin McCain, Wilson Phillips and Spin Doctors, as well as returning favorites like Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and Boyz II Men.   • Sept. 27-29 – Starship starring Mickey Thomas
  • Sept. 30-Oct. 1 – Go-Go’s
  • Oct. 2-4 – Air Supply
  • Oct. 5-6 – Sister Hazel
  • Oct. 7-9 – Sugar Ray
  • Oct. 10-11 – Edwin McCain
  • Oct. 12-13 – Manhattan Transfer
  • Oct. 14-15 – Wilson Phillips
  • Oct. 16-17 – The Pointer Sisters
  • Oct. 18-20 – Night Ranger
  • Oct. 21-23 – Boyz II Men
  • Oct. 24-25 – Survivor
  • Oct. 26-27 – 38 Special
  • Oct. 28-30 – Smash Mouth
  • Oct. 31-Nov. 1 – Spin Doctors

The concerts, which are included with Epcot admission, will be at the America Gardens Theatre nightly at 5:30, 6:45 and 8 p.m. So grab some good eats and sample the sounds of popular musical acts from the 70s, 80s and 90s!
